Where disciplines,
ideas, and instincts meet.
Estuary is a design studio collaborating with artists, brands, and cultural tastemakers to create objects and experiences at the intersection of making and gathering.
We believe that bringing something new to this world carries responsibility. Driven by playful creative inquiry, Estuary develops heirloom and temporal work with intention, guided by a deep love for humanity and the natural world.
I’ve spent the last twenty years working across industries, first in hospitality then as a program manager in technology, running technical and strategic initiatives for large organizations. Always channeling my creativity into process and solving for other people’s visions.
A decade ago I named this studio Estuary, but I didn’t know what it was for yet. I explored an oyster bar. I explored a flower shop. I kept waiting for the right fit. What shifted was asking myself a different question: what happens if I stop using my creativity for others and started developing it for myself? The answer was a creative ecosystem, part events, part art practice, part something still unfolding, built on the belief that the best work happens in dialogue with other people.
I’m an extrovert who processes through conversation. I believe collaboration agitates growth, and I’m an instigator in that space. When we work together, unexpected things emerge.
I love small beautiful things, the iridescence of shells, the shape of eucalyptus seeds, the jammy purple of oxalis that spurs an unidentifiable emotion deep within. I believe in noticing and pointing them out to friends. Everything I make comes from that impulse. To gather people, to create moments and objects that matter, and to say, did you see that?
We are comfortable with not knowing and energized by discovery, following what feels alive and treating creativity like a tide. Always moving, always converging, always inviting us into the in-between.
We partner with you to assess where you are, move from vision to strategy, and build a plan to get there.
We collaborate with artists to create bespoke pieces designed specifically for your project.
We refine your aesthetic, drawing from nature and culture to build the world that’s singular to your project.
